I was attacked by a large dog and left nearly lifeless, bleeding on the road. My name is Chinmai, and I am looking for someone to help me overcome my past.

I was a street dog with no safe place to sleep. No fresh food or water to eat or drink. No one to care for me or rush me to the vet when I needed it most. So when I was attacked by a bigger dog, I expected to die right there on the roadside. But luckily I didn’t. Instead, thanks to people like you, I was saved and taken to the Soi Dog hospital for immediate treatment.

I suffered a long list of painful injuries: deep bite wounds on my legs and hip, dislocated elbows and damage to my lower spine. I was in a state of shock and needed to be placed on an IV.

I endured a long road to recovery, including a front leg amputation, but I made it. I am now living in an enclosure with other dogs, waiting for my special someone to pick me. As you can imagine, my past has left me hesitant. I want to bond with the volunteers, it just takes me a while to warm up to new people. But once we have bonded, I will trust you unconditionally!
