Melissa writes that a boy had spotted Ozzy in the vicinity and a shop owner thinks drug addicts could have stolen Ozzy to sell for a few hundred RM.
We appeal to residents in the Damansara Jaya area to please help keep a lookout for Ozzy. If you know of anyone who may have bought Ozzy, please advise the person to return Ozzy to his owners. As stated above, there will be no questions asked.
I have printed the poster and alerted my vet too, should anyone bring in a Shetland sheepdog. Apparently, this breed is quite rare. They are small-sized and look like Border Collies.
I remember long ago, in my childhood days, we fostered a Pomeranian, Putih, with an ear injury, for a friend. Putih was stolen one day, but we alerted friends and everyone started looking. Within a few days, someone spotted him in a home. Their new owners had bought him for RM200 from the thieves (that’s more than 30 years ago). We paid the RM200 and bought him back.
