Did you know Soodlor means “handsomest” in Thai? But I’m not just another good-looking dog, I’ve also got a big personality and an even bigger smile!

Perhaps you remember me from when I was featured as one of the dogs celebrating last year’s Christmas Day with volunteers by the beach. Although, I haven’t always been a thriving model dog. When I was just a little pup, my owner dumped me on the streets of Phuket and left me to fend for myself. I had to learn how to be a tough boy in order to survive or risk being chased by bigger dogs and people who don’t particularly like dogs like me around their area. I also thought the scary-looking moving vehicles were trying to hurt me, so I ended up chasing them which almost got me killed.

A kind person took me to a local clinic with hopes of finding my owner, but no one came to claim me, so I ended up at Soi Dog Foundation. I hope that one day someone will come along and fall head over heels for me. I am so ready to be loved fully without condition – the only way I know how to love.

Whether I am going for a walk, running around in the off-lead area or having a mid-day nap, humans make it better. I enjoy everyone’s company and would love to have a home, preferably all to myself. That way, I can dedicate my life to being your one and only good boy!
