Our planet’s nature is declining, our forests are burning and our climate is in crisis. The dawn of 2020 is an opportunity for brands and corporations to show how they are contributing to the solution of a greener and better world. This includes the responsible sourcing of palm oil, the world’s most popular vegetable oil which threatens forests, species and communities and contributes to climate change when produced irresponsibly. Look out for the #PalmOilScorecard this week which assesses major retailers, manufacturers and food service companies to see which brands are taking action for a sustainable palm oil industry that does not contribute to the destruction of forests.
