Hi lovely people, it’s me, Eufemia, coming to you all the way from Phuket, Thailand and keeping my paws crossed that one of you will pick me: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/eufemia-2005
Being an island dog isn’t as easy breezy as it sounds. Although I wish it were so, it was hard for me living on the streets and maneuvering my way around the human world. There were so many obstacles. For one, I was struck by a car which injured my left hind leg to the point that walking became difficult for me. Some kind gentlemen rescued me from behind car showroom near the main road where I was hiding. It was the only place I felt safe at the time, until I came to Soi Dog Foundation.
I had to be on cage rest for a while until my leg fully healed. But once I recovered, it was as if a fox had been let out! Now I’m bursting with energy and a full zest for life. I enjoy meeting new faces and showing my playful side to the world. Most of all, I love my walks and my human volunteers cuddling me and scratching behind my floppy ears. My curiosity is what makes me so approachable – call me Eufemia, the explorer! But, you might have to be wary when letting me run off-leash. In case I get lost in my never-ending sniffing exploration.
I dream of spending the rest of my days in a loving home. You can be my Columbus and discover the wonder of having such a great dog. Our adventure starts when you push the orange button below.
