I have been at the shelter since 2016, will I ever find a home?

Hiya, my name is Fon Luang, and I am hoping you will be the one to give me my golden ticket to a furever home. I was brought to Soi Dog because I was living on the streets with my mother and 3 siblings. We were just a few months old but thankfully, a kind person spotted us one day and worried for our safety, called Soi Dog for help.

Since then, I have spent the last year and a half in the shelter and finally feel ready to find my furever home. When I arrived at Soi Dog, I was fearful of my surroundings and new people, however, I have been lucky enough to spend time with Soi Dog’s Behavioural team, who have helped me grow in confidence! They were kind, patient and took things slowly with me, until I reached the day where I joined one of my furry friends on a walk and actually enjoyed it!

This was an incredible accomplishment for me. I now love walking with volunteers, which is something I never thought I would enjoy. I now even seek attention from the people who visit my run. There is noting that a little head scratch!

While I am still quite shy, I am longing for a home and a patient family who will continue to bring me out of my shell. I would also benefit from the company of some doggy siblings to help me settle into the family. Could YOU be the one to help me grow?
