Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post

When people look into my eyes, they are mesmerised by their golden colour. My name is Osaki and I am more than just good looks… although people do love my cheeky grin.

I was living in a temple when, one day, a car ran over my leg. The kind people who fed me called the Soi Dog Community Outreach team after my condition worsened over time. I was weak and lethargic, and suffered from chronic vomiting for 3 days. If the animal rescue officer from Soi Dog did not come to my aid, I would have succumbed to emaciation. I’d hate to think where i’d have ended up if it wasn’t for the kindness of so many vets willing to nurse me back to life.

Despite losing my left hind leg 3 years ago, I am a healthy, happy, and unstoppable dog. There is nothing that I can’t do. I can run faster than most 4-legged dogs and I can trot elegantly like a fox towards you for a nice head scratch. Every time I go for a walk, I treasure the moment so deeply as if it were my last. I am known for my endearing yet sassy personality… just wait until you meet me!

I don’t ask for much. I only ask for you to look into my golden eyes and see that all I want is to love someone and be loved in return. I will be here waiting for my furever family.
