Large and intimidating. That is what people see when they first meet me, but if you spend more than a minute with me, you will quickly realise I am just a big softie. Please give me the home I deserve: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/gawain-1964

My name is Gawain and I have been given a second chance. I arrived at the shelter back in July 2017 having lived the majority of my life on the streets. During that time, life was a struggle. Avoiding cars, scrounging for food and finding a safe place to rest each night was not easy. Luckily a kind man looked out for me who one day noticed I was injured. He quickly realised I had been struck and injured by a car and rushed me into Soi Dog for help. After my treatment he brought me back to the area I had been living in, but was always worried I would get hurt again. Months later I appeared at his house with a maggot infested wound and he knew I would be safer living at the shelter. I am so thankful for being rescued and hope that one day I will find a home of my own!

Despite my looks, I am a calm and affectionate boy. I love to give kisses whenever I am given the chance, especially when you’re not expecting it! Each day I go for my walks and enjoy the fresh breeze in my ears. After walkies, I enjoy an afternoon nap and of course a few treats here and there. I would love to find a home I could relax in and feel the true love of a family.

Could you offer me a chance to show my true colours?: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/gawain-1964
