Do you remember Jangko? One of our animal rescue officers found this homeless boy wandering with a ghastly wound on his right hind leg. A cruel person had tied it tightly with rope.
Concerned locals caring for Jangko had seen his wound and asked us to help. So we did – and just look at this pup now! He’s all healed up!
We could not do what we do without our supporters standing behind us. Will you please join the Emergency Response Team now? Click now: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert.
Caring people were involved in every stage of his recovery, but animal lovers like you are the real reason Jangko is so much better.
Around 1,100 dogs and cats depend on us at any given time. Hundreds of emergency cases arrive every month or so. To keep rescuing desperate animals, we need you now more than ever.
That not everyone deserves the love and trust of a good dog is a lesson poor Jangko and countless other dogs learn every day. Sadly, he’s only one of thousands of homeless, hurting animals to come through our hospital and shelter since we started in 2003.
We can only help these dogs and cats because of compassionate animal lovers who believe they deserve so much better. People like you.
The rope around Jangko’s foot was tied so tightly, a bone was fractured. The rope was so deeply imbedded, not all of it could be found and removed immediately. It has all been extracted now.
Sadly, this was not the first time Jangko had experienced cruelty. Our vets reported finding an old scar under the newer injury.
Happily, his wound is completely healed now. He’s pain-free and walking normally. Other issues he’s been dealing with are being sorted. And great news – he has tested negative for distemper!
The Thai government has no funding to offer us to help animals. The ones we rescue rely totally on our help, which comes completely from your kindness and generosity.
Committing to an affordable monthly gift will do more good than you might imagine for dogs like Jangko. So would a kind one-off gift. Click here to learn more: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert
