Yesterday, I had a windfall (“durian runtuh”)!
Tabs, Cow, Indy and Pole ate Cubgrub Duck!!!
What???
YES, they did!
It was unbelievable….
I just put a teaspoon into Tabs’ bowl and she ate it! Then, I added more and she ate, and I added, and she ate!!
Before this, she would just walk away. “It’s poison…not eating.”
Kenapa tiba-tiba, all makan?
Pinch me? Am I dreaming?
No, Tabs is REALLY eating Duck!
Then, I decided to try it on Indy (Indy had only eaten Duck once, he rejected it after that).
Eh? Makan jugak?
Yes, and he kept asking for more! And this is after he had had his Fillet Plus. Of course I gave, right?
So, Ginger already had a full meal of Duck (of course, of course!), and now, Tabs and Indy were eating too! I didn’t dare push my luck to try it on Heidi because she’s been having some digestion problem and she was vomiting bile (with grass).
Then, it was time for the Cow Clan. Nowadays, Indy eats at the window sill with the kitchen group. So, it’s 4 in the kitchen and 4 at the pantry.
Of course Bunny eats Duck (he LOVES it!). Cleo also loves Duck. But the greatest surprise here is that Pole also ate it (she doesn’t really care for it) and Cow too!!
Cow has never ever eaten Duck….EVER. He would just walk away, but he ate it too yesterday!!!
WHAT luck is this? Are the stars aligned?
Lin Li says it’s because they don’t want me to go away again….haha.
Perhaps, ya?
I thought it was just a one-off lucky streak, but no, this morning, they ate Duck again!!
The updated protein rotation:
Cow: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Chicken n Salmon, Primal Turkey, Cubgrub Duck
Bunny: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Chicken n Salmon, Primal Turkey, Cubgrub Duck, Cubgrub Rabbit
Indy: Fillet Plus, Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck, Primal Turkey, Primal Chicken n Salmon
Pole: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Chicken n Salmon, Primal Turkey, Cubgrub Duck
Cleo: Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck
Ginger: Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck, Cubgrub Rabbit, Cubgrub Quail, boiled chicken from bone broth (his snack), Fillet Plus
Tabs: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Chicken n Salmon, Primal Turkey, Cubgrub Duck, Fillet Plus
Heidi: Cubgrub Chicken, Fillet Plus, Primal Turkey (iffy)
So now, only Heidi has one protein with possible turkey (iffy)! The rest already have at least two proteins! Yay!!

In general, raw duck has the lowest phosphorus.
As for Primal products, here’s the analysis on their recipes (I got this from the Primal website) – phosphorus levels
