The Raw Deal – Cubgrub’s All-New Kidney Chicken
Tweet |
Thank you so much to Lin Li for taking an interest in her clients’ needs! Cubgrub has prepared a special Chicken recipe for kidney cats!
The bone in it is replaced by eggshell powder because bone has a higher content of phosphorus.
Although Bunny and Indy’s phosphate levels are still normal, I thought there’s no harm trying the new kidney food on them.
This is the all-new kidney Chicken from Cubgrub.
Indy loved it!
Bunny too!
No, Ginger, it’s not for you. You eat the normal food.
Ginger: I want Duck.
Heidi doesn’t need kidney food. Neither does Tabs.
Pole’s CKD has not been staged yet. But she has high creatinine, so no harm in her eating it too.
Cow doesn’t have CKD but since everyone was eating it, I let Cow try too.
Cleo’s creatinine has come down, but her urine SG has not been tested yet. Anyway, Cleo loved it too!
Thank you so much, Cubgrub, for making the effort to care for our cats!!
Since the CKD isn’t so serious in our cats, I plan to alternate between the kidney Chicken and the normal one. At the same time, protein rotation to Duck, Rabbit and Primal Turkey is ongoing.
Here’s the latest:
Cow: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Turkey
Bunny: Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck, Cubgrub Rabbit, Primal Turkey
Pole: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Turkey (she stopped eating Duck)
Cleo: Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck (she stopped eating Turkey)
Indy: Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck (but only once)
Ginger: Cubgrub Chicken, Cubgrub Duck, Cubgrub Rabbit, Cubgrub Quail
Heidi: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Turkey (iffy)
Tabs: Cubgrub Chicken, Primal Turkey
Cow, Bunny, Pole and Tabs also eat Primal Chicken & Salmon.
