When it comes to animals, no one cares more than you do. And you show it every day, whether it’s by helping strays where you live, or by donating to animal rescue organisations like Soi Dog Foundation.

Animal lovers like you are the reason Khaojam didn’t lose his leg. His cruel former owner had wrapped something extremely tightly around it.

On Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3, will you please make an extra donation for dogs like Khaojam, who only have you? https://www.soidog.org/content/give-the-gift-of-life

We don’t know by what or for how long this poor boy’s leg was constricted, but it was severely damaged by the time he got to our hospital.

For several months, it was touch-and-go for this sweet boy. Our vets just weren’t sure if they would have to amputate his leg to give him more mobility and to ease his pain.

Today, we are thrilled to tell you – Khaojam still has his leg! Our vets managed to save it through surgery and various therapeutic treatments, including a special healing type of honey.

It’s not pretty, but he can walk normally on it again without pain.

Without our supporters, there would be no Soi Dog Foundation to rescue animals like Khaojam.

Desperate dogs and cats arrive here every day. Right now, we have 1,100 or so in our care – close to our hospital and shelter’s capacity.

As you can imagine, it’s very expensive to provide care and feeding to this many animals (but the love is free!).

That is why we ask: On Giving Tuesday, will you please make an extra gift to help ensure we can always help animals who need us? Click here: https://www.soidog.org/content/give-the-gift-of-life. Thank you! #GivingTuesday
