🎶 Under the sea, Under the sea, darling it’s better down where it’s wetter, take it from me 🎶

Ever since Reungjai was a puppy, she dreamt of being a mermaid because of her love of water. After everything she has been through, it is so wonderful to see how much joy she has while splashing around.

After being born on the streets, Reungjai was hit by a car and left with life altering injuries. She sustained fractures to not only her pelvis, but also to both her back legs as well as a dislocation to the joint connecting her pelvis and spine. As you can imagine, she was in agony and very scared.

The vets did all they could to save her, although one of her legs was irreparable and had to be amputated. At only eight weeks old she did not deserve this.

Reungjai translated into English means high spirits, which describes her perfectly when she is playing in water. Despite her past, she is looking forward to the day where she has a family to splash around with. Who knows, maybe one day she will even have her own aqua oasis.
