Indy Is Eating Again

After an unexplained dip in appetite yesterday, Indy is back to eating again today!

In fact, he ate with everyone else, not at the window sill.

Yesterday, I finally had to resort to putting a Greenies nugget on this food to entice him to eat.

The vet did advise me to give Greenies to our cats as a dental treat. However, our cats swallow it whole, so I guess that defeats the purpose? They don’t chew.

Indy and Bunny eat raw chicken chunks, but they also swallow it whole and do not chew. I think only Cleo, Tabs and Heidi chew the raw chicken chunks. Cow and Pole thinks raw chicken chunks are not food (refuse to eat it), but they eat grinded raw food! Ginger eats the chunks, but I have not observed whether he swallows them whole or he chews them.

We do use Orozyme. It contains enzymes to dissolve plague and counteracts inflammation. Cow needs it twice a day, as advised by the vet.

Today will be another day of watching Indy’s stools. We are not out of the woods yet although the stools were completely firm yesterday (but blood-tinged).

What caused the loose stools in the first place? That shall be recorded as yet another Indy-mystery!
