Ginger’s Targets

So, Ginger’s story continues…

We were going to take down the green netting yesterday but yesterday was really a very busy day and we have not got down to doing it yet.

It is pretty clear that Ginger views the green netting as an insult to him.

If the grille and patio door are open, he will willingly go out to the patio and sit on the chairs. But if the grille is closed (with the green netting), that’s what makes him angry and he will go all out to squeeze through the loophole to get in.

Oh well….

He clearly has a mind of his own.

All cats do.

See? Door and grille open – Ginger happily sits and sleeps at the patio.

Inside, under supervision.

Ginger, all we ask of you is, please do not spray. That’s all. Is that so hard to do?

Ginger: I’m closing my eyes and not listening to you.

The cushions are Ginger’s target.

Tabs says she will guard the cushions, but it looks like she is sleeping on the job.

Ginger tried his next target – our taiji swords and sabres. He likes to spray on them as well. But I caught him mooching around there and stopped him in his tracks.

Ginger got bored (not being able to carry out his sneaky spraying sessions), so he decided to come into Bunny’s Room.

It would be good for us if Ginger could live in Bunny’s Place, but it wouldn’t be fair to Ginger (he won’t survive the wrath of Cow and Bunny) and it wouldn’t be fair to the Cow Clan too. The presence of any “new” cat is a source of stress.

Pole: What is HE doing in here?

I think I want to go back out now….whine, whine, whine.

Next episode….coming up.
