18 November 2019 – Symphonia Fantasia String Ensemble held a “Concert for Kindness” on the 17th November 2019 at The Gardens Theatre-TGT where all proceeds were channelled to SPCA Selangor.

Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah was the guest of honour and the audience were treated with a wonderful surprise when Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah went on stage to join the orchestra on her violin to perform two lovely pieces, Smoke Gets in Your Eyes and Secret Garden. Also Lim Rae Lyn, a five year old protégé, granddaughter of the conductor, Ms Winnie Cheah also entertained the crowd with a few musical pieces.

Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah gave credit to SPCA Selangor for the work that SPCA does with the animals and she encouraged all to continue to play any musical instruments they have at home as it is a good relaxation for the soul.

The audience were also entertained during the concert with many beautiful music pieces such as Appassionata, Phantom of the Opera and Game of Throne.

Symphonia Fantasia is an orchestra formed in 2014 by Ms. Winnie Cheah, to encourage children of all ages to come together to learn and experience the joys of playing music as a group.
