Give a black dog a chance: http://bit.ly/372yucM
Rescued from the horrific Dog Meat Trade, Jessie was given a second chance at life.As you can imagine coming from such cruelty and such neglect, it was not an easy road to recovery for poor Jessie. She struggled to trust people and find her confidence. In addition to her fearfulness, we worried that she would go unnoticed amongst the other dogs.
However, after time and patience from not only Soi Dog but also one of our well known Partner Rescues, Posh Pet Rescue, she has finally found her forever home.
Over four years ago, Posh Pet Rescue, heard her story and knew they had to help. Post Pet President, Linda, flew to Thailand to personally accompany Jessie back to the States knowing she would need extra time and patience to trust humans again. While many of the other Dog Meat Trade survivors found their homes with ease, Jessie took time to find her special someone.
The Posh Pet staff members never gave up hope and created a loving environment for Jessie to feel comfortable. She learnt to trust them and to come out of her shell.
“You had to get to know Jessie over time and the amazing Vicky C from Bayport, NY did just that. She made several visits to be with her and create a bond.
So here we are, happy to announce she is in her new home. As you can see she’s jumping and playing in the leaves outside. Vicky updated us and said it’s still a learning curve for each other but she has patience and Jessie is finally home.”
Let Jessie be proof that there is a home for every dog. 🖤 To give a black dog a chance click here: http://bit.ly/372yucM
