Today, I called my friend who is looking after Sunshine Courage and to cut a long story short, Sunshine is showing great promise and hope every day.
She is even sitting up now, and trying to get up and walk!
My friend is having some problems confining her and refraining her from walking because it is crucial in injuries of this sort that the animal (or even in humans) does not move too much. Any form of movement may aggravate the injury, slow down the recovery or worse, cause further damage.
So I went over to our vet’s to seek advice and was told to just halve the space that Sunshine is in now.
Sunshine must be confined from walking, but not other movements as she needs to move her other muscles or they will waste away. My friend is administering daily physiotherapy to help in this area.
I also met Dr Susanna this evening and she will make a housecall to do Sunshine’s next few acupuncture treatments.
We are hoping that Sunshine will show improvement daily and perhaps, be able to walk a little in 6-8 weeks’ time.
It has only been two weeks now.
The elderly Mr Lim will visit again to administer energy healing.
We also wish to thank an anonymous donor for contributing towards Sunshine’s expenses. We want to thank Joan Shanmugam for sharing her pet’s stem cells while waiting for ours to arrive. Our bottle has arrived now so Sunshine has her own bottle of stem cells.
Meanwhile, we are still looking for an adopter for Sunshine. Please help us spread the word.
Please pray for Sunshine’s recovery. It helps.
