Indy’s “slippery” News

Indy is having loose stools again and this morning, he vomited all his breakfast out. The vet says to give him Vitamin B12 on alternate days and put him on Vetri DMG. Gastrointestinal problems are not easy to solve because it is not easy to identify the cause. We’ve tried so many things now.

However, immediately after vomiting, he asked for food again. I didn’t give him until after an hour, and only one tablespoon of food, which he could hold down.

Other than that, Indy is his usual self.

The remedy that I started him on yesterday was the slippery elm bark, but there is no positive result so far. Maybe it needs more time, I really don’t know.

There is so much positive write-up about the efficacy and safety of using slippery elm bark to address diarrhoea and gastrointestinal issues. Here’s one: https://littlebigcat.com/health/slippery-elm/

Indy: But I don’t like the taste of this “slippery” thingie.
