Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post

As we celebrate #BlackCatAwarnessMonth we looked back on a black street kitten from the streets of Thailand, who got lucky.

He was found as a tiny kitten on an island near Phuket,by a couple who were there on holiday. They looked for the mother but found none. They searched for someone to look after him but failed.

Eventually they contacted Soi Dog Foundation and that’s how tiny Auckland came to be a soi cat.

Most people would have left him thinking they’ve done their bit but not this beautiful couple.

They stayed in touch hoping that Auckland would be a strong boy and make it through the the most vulnerable stage of his life.

And a couple of months later, when he did emerge strong and naughty, not surprisingly, they decided to give him a home.

Auckland is now a Finnish cat. A cheeky, mischievous one at that but, definitely a spoilt and happy one, like all cats should be.

This is one lucky #furrytailending for one charming #blackcat
