Pole Seems Calmer

It’s been 20 days since Pole was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and we started her on the transdermal Methimazole cream.

She seems calmer now. We don’t see the leg trembling anymore and she is less easily agitated.

Her check-up is at the end of this month, along with Cleo. We do subcut for both of them twice a week too, to hopefully bring down their creatinine levels. We also hope that Pole’s elevated kidney and liver readings are due to her hyperthyroid condition so if the medication works, the readings should also come down.
