Life on the streets for a dog can be very difficult. We have to scrounge for food, water and shelter. On top of this, we need to protect ourselves from all the dangers around us including cars, other dogs, construction sites and more!
My name is Mongju and I was living on the streets until one day I was found with an injured hind leg. The vets think I had been living with a broken a leg for a while, which as you can imagine, was very painful. When the vets examined the injury, they knew I would be better off if they amputated. At first, I was a bit uneasy, but it did not take long for me to learn how to get around with ease. Now, I am faster than some of the dogs with four legs!
I am a sweet, young lad looking for someone to welcome me home. Could this be you? The volunteers say I am affectionate and adventurous. My independent personality would make me a great fit for almost anyone! I am happy to sit around and chill with you or go and explore new places. Please help me find the home I have always dreamed of: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/mongju-1945
