It’s me, Ladin! I’m doing much better than when we first met a month ago, when tragically, I’d just been hit by a car. My eye was hurt the worst, and you can see it’s now much better – and I can see much better out of it.

At age 1, I’m basically still just a kitten – yet I was all alone in the world. But Soi Dog was there for me when I got hurt, thanks to kind people like you. Will you please give to them now at https://bit.ly/RescueHomelessCats? They helped me when I thought no one cared.

The short version of my story is, I was just out catting around one day, crossing the street. Suddenly I heard a loud screech, then a thump. A car had hit me – hard! I passed out cold. When I came to, I was in so much pain, and could hardly see out of my right eye.

A kind lady found me and took me to get help. The first place we went, I got a little aid, but my injuries were so serious, we went on to the Soi Dog hospital. The humans there were quick to come look at my poor old eye. They were very gentle while cleaning and treating it, and soon, it started to feel better.

For the past month, I’ve been recovering here at their shelter. I’m so lucky that wonderful lady found me and brought me here. I might not have made it, otherwise. I’m being looked after really well. The vets did surgery to reconstruct the area around my injured eye, and are monitoring a blood clot in my heart, which fortunately is getting smaller.

The conjunctivitis I was being treated for has cleared up. The big abscess I had is gone now. I’m no longer dehydrated, and my depression has improved. I’m eating good food, and have a comfy, safe place to sleep. You know, we kitties tend to sleep a lot…especially after we’ve gone through something as stressful as I have!

I used up one of my nine lives when I got hit by that car – but I feel like I got it back at Soi Dog. That’s only thanks to the compassionate people who support them. I was lucky. Many homeless animals who get hurt like I did just pass away because no one cares about them or even notices their suffering.

But with your support, more of them can be brought to Soi Dog. More can survive. And with loads of love and care, they can eventually thrive, like I’m doing, and like all animals should.

Will you please join the group of wonderful humans who give to Soi Dog Foundation and donate now? Sadly, I am only one of many animals like me in Thailand, and Soi Dog needs to be ready to help them, too, when they get hurt, sick or abused. Thank you. https://bit.ly/RescueHomelessCats
