Unfortunately, I have been told that the odds are stacked against me, being older and a black dog. However, I refuse to let that get me down. My name is Goodlife and I dream of finding a home to spend the rest of my days.
I was brought to Soi Dog in 2016 after living the majority of my life on the streets. I was lucky enough to have a safe place to sleep and access to fresh water and food. However, as I got older more and more buildings popped up and my living space got smaller. More people surrounded me, which made me feel unsure. I would hide away hoping they would not see me, but this was no way live. Luckily I was brought into Soi Dog where I was cared for and encouraged to grow in confidence.
I am proud of my progress so far and know that if I find the right home I will continue to grow. The volunteers say I now get excited to go for my walks and have become playful when I go to the off-lead area. I have plenty of energy for an older gal… you would never guess my age from seeing me run around! Although it may take me some time to adjust, once I know and trust you we will be friends for life. I enjoy being around other chilled dogs so please consider welcoming me to your pack.
Together we can break the negative stereotypes of old dogs and black dogs. What do you think? Please click here to offer me a future: https://www.soidog.org/adopt/good-life-1928
