Photos From Soi Dog Foundation's Post

The agony Huaperd has suffered at only 7 months old is so horrific that, if you didn’t see his photos and only heard about his injuries, you might not even believe he survived. Please give now to make sure Phuket’s homeless animals will always have a place to go when accidents inevitably befall them. https://emergency.soidog.org/ert

Huaperd’s injuries were some of the worst imaginable. A large section of this poor pup’s head was destroyed when he was hit by a car. His left front paw had virtually nothing left to it but bones, and his belly bore a long, deep gash.

Every day in Thailand, unlucky dogs like Huaperd are hit (cats, too). Many are left to run away, hide, suffer and likely die, simply because no one cared. Some drivers don’t even slow down after impact! It’s hard to comprehend, but such apathy toward innocent living creatures does exist.

Happily, Huaperd was more fortunate than most accident victims. He has an owner, who brought him to the Soi Dog hospital for emergency treatment – lots of it. Thanks to devoted animal lovers like you, there was a place to take him for help. Please provide aid to suffering animals by joining the Emergency Response Team: https://emergency.soidog.org/ert

Huaperd still can’t stand by himself, but his pain is much improved. His wound still looks rough, but it’s actually much better. He’s eating well again. This sweet boy is lucky to be alive – and from the look in his eyes, he seems to know it.

Please give now so injured animals like Huaperd will always have emergency care available when they desperately need it. https://emergency.soidog.org/ert Thank you.
