Danijela Vuksanovic has been rescuing for six years in her Montenegro community. Food is the biggest cost here with many animals counting on Danijela and her husband for daily meals. The duo were so delighted to have help from the Harmony Fund recently to buy more food.

“There are currently 140 animals in our shelter for dogs and cats,” Danijela said. “My husband and I sold our apartment so we could help abandoned animals.”

Last month, we sent funds for kibble and those funds were very gratefully put to use. But these rescuers are trying to complete more housing for the animals and to purchase straw insulating material before the winter months. They also need more help with spay/neuter. Donations today will allow us to assist in these very important next steps.
