Zurik’s Mid-Week Report
Tweet |
A few days ago, we increased Zurik’s Vetri DMG to 0.5ml twice a day. Previously, it was just once a day. The vet agreed there was no harm in doing so. Hopefully, this increase would help slow down the progress of the FIP disease.
Coincidentally with the increase in the Vetri DMG, I noticed some loose skin hanging down from his belly the next day. I don’t know whether this is a good sign (could the fluids have decreased and hence there is loose skin hanging down now?). We will wait for his check-up on Friday to see if there has been any change in the amount of fluids. But the vet did say that it’s difficult for abdominal fluids to be reabsorbed by the body. Normally, it just remains where it is.
Zurik’s appetite has been good. He is also alert and curious.
Every good day is a bonus!
