Weeks old, blind, abandoned, and then seriously hurt…

An update on little Maprao, who was injured by a coconut falling on his head while he living as a homeless pup with no owner to care for him. As if that wasn’t bad enough, little Maprao is blind. Please donate now at https://bit.ly/Donate_For_Maprao so that animals like him can get the help they need!

Our Animal Rescue Officer was on duty in the area when he witnessed a coconut fall from a tree, directly on poor little Maprao below. Running over to where this little boy lay, he found him unable to move and crying in pain. Picking Maprao up, he raced him straight to the Soi Dog shelter.

Please join the Emergency Response Team so that rescues like this can continue and more animals can be saved! The members of our Emergency Response Team are people just like you. They are compassionate animal lovers who want to help. It is their support and generosity that funds emergency medical treatment for homeless animals like Maprao. Without them, it’s almost certain that he would not be alive today.

When he arrived at our shelter, Maprao was infested with ticks and absolutely starving. Furthermore, the force of being hit from such a great height had left him with neurological issues, meaning he wobbled when standing and walked in a circular pattern. After a couple of weeks of medical treatment, these signs are now improving slightly. Maprao is walking better although he may never walk normally, but this doesn’t stop this special boy smiling!

Will you please help more vulnerable animals like Maprao? Will you please join the Emergency Response Team? Your membership will help fund life-saving medical treatment for sick and injured dogs and cats that have nowhere else to go.

Please go to https://bit.ly/Donate_For_Maprao to show suffering homeless animals that someone will help. Because you truly are their only hope. Thank you.
