Soi Dog Partner Rescue Program

Did you know that Soi Dog Foundation is partnering with rescue organisations in the United States and Canada in an effort to rehome defenceless dogs and cats?

The animals adopted through the Partner Rescue Program are rescued from a government shelter in Northern Thailand, including some survivors of the dog meat trade, street dogs found at the Government Dog Pound in Phuket, dogs living in our Phuket Shelter and dogs drawn from a government shelter located in Northeast Thailand, who were caught up in a rabies scare in early 2018.

We’re looking for more animal rescues in Canada and the USA to partner with, in order to give vulnerable dogs and cats the opportunity to find their forever homes.

Adopting to the USA and Canada is a very simple process and Soi Dog handles everything. We take care of all the transportation and paperwork, and there are no quarantine requirements, which means the dogs and cats can usually leave within 1- 3 months. All animals undergo regular veterinary checks while in our care and are fully vaccinated, sterilised and microchipped prior to departure.
