We are so grateful to our adopters for giving our animals a second chance at love. Mika, now called Mila, has arrived safely in Sweden with her new family. When her adopters visited our shelter, it was love at first sight! Mila’s striking good looks and sweet personality captured their hearts as soon as they met her. Knowing she was a bit shy while at the shelter, they were aware it would take some time and patience for her to adjust to a new environment. It’s so lovely to hear she has overcome her fears and is enjoying a life filled with love and adventure.

“In the beginning she was really scared on our walks and panicked when we saw bikes. Today we can walk through the city during lunch time, when it’s full of people and her tail is up in the sky! We have really worked on her fears and now she doesn’t worry about people, cars or even bikes. What she loves most though, is the Swedish woods! She can run around there for hours and you can really see the joy in her eyes. We had a “no bed” rule when she came here…that rule was gone after one week. She sleeps between us every night now. She’s a master of taking up space, no shame here!”

Thank you to her patient adopter for showing Mila the unconditional love she deserves. She looks incredibly happy and settled in her new home. If you have adopted a Soi Dog or Cat, please email your #furrytailending to adoptions@soidog.org.
