This is Guido, a homeless dog of Thailand. He was found with a deep, infected wound around his neck. Street dogs like him have no hope without people like you. Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Guido and donate to help with their rescue and medical treatment!

On closer inspection it turned out the horrific injury had been caused by a piece of nylon string tied tightly around Guido’s neck and simply left there. This may have been done when this poor boy was younger and smaller but over time, as he grew, the string embedded itself deeper and deeper into his flesh, cutting into it and ultimately leaving him with such a terribly painful injury.

Guido was incredibly lucky to have been found when he was. Left untreated much longer, the infection in the wound would have progressed to very dangerous levels, leading ultimately to septicaemia and a slow and painful death.

Will you please help to fund the expansion of the Soi Dog shelter so that more homeless animals like Guido can be helped? Thanks to the support of animal lovers like you, construction work is ongoing on this vital project, but we still have a long way to go. Will you please donate now so that we can create more space and facilities to care for vulnerable animals like Guido? https://bit.ly/Saving_Guido

Guido is lucky – after having surgery to repair the wound around his neck, he is now safe in the care of our vets. This is all we want for many more animals that are suffering on the streets. We simply cannot turn our backs on them due to a lack of space. Will you take action to ensure it never comes to this?

Your kind gift will help to fund the construction of additional shelter space, along with new treatment areas and the essential equipment to keep it running, thereby saving more lives. Please act now to help more homeless and unowned animals like Guido by donating at https://bit.ly/Saving_Guido

Thank you.
