Today, my friend brought Sunshine’s X-Rays and we consulted our panel vet for his opinion.

The spinal chord IS broken at the lumbar vertebrae L6. It is obliterated and bits of it is crushed. From a medical point of view, an injury of this nature causes lifelong paralysis and Sunshine will not be able to walk again.

Her heart is not enlarged, but her lungs do not look too good.

Thanks to the homeopathy medicine from Dr Susanna, my friend was able to express all the compacted faeces you see in the X-Rays above. It’s all cleared now.

In fact, against the odds, Sunshine has begun moving a wee bit of her right leg in response to the physiotherapy. Whether this is a reflex movement or voluntary jerking, we cannot be sure at this point but from the video taken, it looks like voluntary movement.

We shall continue with everything we are doing. Worse come to worst, paralysis is not life-threatening. There are wheelchairs to help her move when she needs to.

We just have to look for an adopter who is willing to care for her for life.
