Timothy is only about 4 years of age, but in the few short years he’s been on the planet, he has suffered more than any dog should in a lifetime. As a street dog, he’s never had a place to call home or a human to love him – and when we met him, he was in a world of pain. Please donate now at https://bit.ly/Donate_for_Timothy

Timothy was found with a badly infected wound on his back. Severely infected, it was infested with maggots. Not only was Timothy in terrible pain – and had been for some time – but left untreated, he was at risk of blood poisoning and ultimately, a slow and painful death. Now imagine what would have happened if there had been nowhere for him to go…

Soi Dog Foundation is continually asked to help a growing number of animals, both here on the island of Phuket where we are based, and further afield. As the numbers grow, so the available space at our shelter shrinks. We never want to get to the stage where we have to turn away an animal in need of help due to a lack of space. But we desperately need your help.

Work has started to expand the Soi Dog shelter but more support is needed to ensure it can be completed and that more animals like Timothy can be helped. By donating now to fund the construction of additional treatment areas, as well as the purchase of extra kennels, cages, and vital medical equipment, you will be helping more sick, injured, abused or abandoned animals get the safe space they need and the medical treatment they urgently require if they are to survive.

Timothy is safe now and has been started on medical treatment. Sadly, our vets discovered he is also partially blind and that both his knees are dislocated. He is also extremely anaemic. Timothy will need a lot of care and, once he is strong enough, he will also need to undergo surgery.

The idea of him continuing to suffer on the streets before ultimately dying a lonely, painful death is simply unbearable. We cannot let it come to this for any animal. Please help these rescues to continue!

Street dogs like Timothy have nobody else who will help them. Please go to https://bit.ly/Donate_for_Timothy to donate what you can now and help fund the expansion of their shelter, giving them a safe place to heal. You are the only hope they have. Thank you.
