Lonnie update! Remember this boy? If you missed his story the first time around, some of the pictures here will show you the pitiful condition he was in when we first met him. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Love_for_Lonnie and help us create more space for homeless pups like him?

Little Lonnie was found alone on the streets with terrible skin problems and an umbilical hernia. He needed weeks of intensive medical treatment and he’s now well on the road to recovery! Lonnie’s traumatic experience on the streets has left him a little bit wary of people and in particular, he has a fear of the leash and will not allow anyone to walk him at the moment.

Lonnie’s dedicated carer at our shelter is continuing to work with him to improve his confidence and show him that not everyone is going to hurt him. Over time, we are hopeful that this once sad little boy will blossom.

But as you read Lonnie’s story, we are being asked to help many more sick and injured animals – far more than our shelter can cope with. There is nowhere else for these dogs and cats to go, but our shelter is now permanently operating at full capacity. Will you please act now to help us expand the facility so more animals can be helped?

Construction work has started, but your help is urgently needed to ensure it can continue so that more treatment areas, more kennels, and more isolation units to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses can be built. We cannot bear the idea of ever having to turn our back on a suffering animal like Lonnie due to a lack of space.

Your kind gift now will help us expand the Soi Dog shelter and change the world for many more animals that have nobody else who cares. Please go to https://bit.ly/Love_for_Lonnie now and donate whatever you can. Thank you.
