Over the next few years, this elephant will impart her knowledge of the forest to her calf. She will show it where to feed, where to seek shelter and how to get to these places. Unfortunately, some of the routes this elephant will take with her calf will be converted into roads for our use, putting them in danger of becoming road casualties.
Our infrastructure development needs to take into consideration the wildlife that lives there to ensure that both human and wildlife benefit from development.
