WWF-Malaysia Sustainable Markets Programme

Members our of Sustainable Markets Practice team and our Conservation Director met up with YB Teresa Kok, Dr. Sugumari Shanmugam and their team at the Ministry of Primary Industries to discuss how WWF-Malaysia can collaborate with the government to increase the conservation of our natural forests, and how we can all work together to achieve Malaysia’s commitment to maintain 50% forest cover.



Part of the SMP team & our Conservation Director met up with YB Teresa Kok, Dr. Sugumari Shanmugam & their team at the Ministry of Primary Industries to discuss how WWF-Malaysia can collaborate with the government to enhance the conservation of our natural forests & how we can all work together to achieve Malaysia’s commitment to maintain 50% forest cover. One of the key solutions to this is the importance of sustainable palm oil production & consumption, & making it a norm.
