His name is Jocasta. He is a homeless dog who was found unable to use his hind legs. Dogs like him have no owner to care for them or get the medical treatment they need. Will you please donate at https://bit.ly/Help_Dogs_Like_Jocasta to help them?

We don’t know what happened to Jocasta but the most likely cause of his injuries is that he was hit by a car. He was in a world of pain when found by the kind person who alerted us. He was also infested with ticks, starving, and weak. Jocasta had clearly been suffering for some time.

Thanks to people like you, he is now safe in the care of our vets. He was started on pain relief and medication to rid him of the tick infestation. An x-ray revealed there were no fractures in his hips or legs, but he did have severe muscle atrophy in both hind legs. He has now been started on physiotherapy and we will update you on his progress in the coming weeks.

Please join the Emergency Response Team so that more homeless animals like Jocasta can get the help they desperately need! We can only do so much as our funds will allow and without you, these animals simply don’t stand a chance.

Please go to https://bit.ly/Help_Dogs_Like_Jocasta now to pledge a small monthly gift that really will make a difference. Thank you.
