Bunny’s Sunday Subcut And The Switch-A-Lunch
Tweet |
We did Bunny’s subcut just now. There were no problems except that before we started, Bunny sprayed onto the curtain…massively. His urine stank – glorious stinky pee! After knowing what kidney failure cats go through, I am very grateful for stinky pee.
Again, it wasn’t easy poking through his thick skin! How resilient is a cat – Bunny had no reaction to the poking. How thick is his skin? And I’m using the pink needle too.
Therapy Tabs came to help.
200ml – done!
Right after that, Bunny went to poop. No straining. It came out easily. It was as big as dog poop.
But he did not cover it. Guess who came to cover the poop?
Cleo!
Cleo came to cover it.
How very kind of Queen Cleo Patra to do this! How very down to earth is she…
Human kings and queens…watch and learn, will ya?
For today’s lunch, the Cow Clan switched bowls on their own and everything got eaten at the end! So convenient.
The intended menu:
Indy: Primal and canned
Pole: Cubgrub
Cleo: Cubgrub
Cow: Primal and canned
Bunny: Homecooked, canned and Hills’ KD
What was eaten:
Indy: Cubgrub – believe it or not? He has been boycotting it for ages.
Pole: Primal and canned
Cleo: Primal (taken from the above)
Cow: Cubgrub and canned
Bunny: Bunny’s original food plus everyone’s leftovers (barely any)
Well, it’s all good food, so as long as everyone eats!
Breakfast is at 5.30am, so by 2pm, everyone would already be hungry.
Tabs and Ginger had Primal. Heidi had canned food plus a bit of Primal.
Fussy and unpredictable cats!!
But no one had any kibble for this meal!! Victory…for this meal!
