Today, Nor submitted Burt’s final medical bill. Burt was a sporo cat who underwent treatment for almost two months. Unfortunately, Burt did not show sufficient signs of improvement for the vet to carry on. So, Nor had to discharge Burt and we sourced for another vet to continue the treatment.

Burt was a neighbourhood cat who lived in Norshidah’s aged mother’s place. Her elderly mother could not foster Burt, and neither could Nor, so Nor had to board him for treatment.

Burt took a turn for the worst while at the next vet, and went down quickly. He was not even FIV positive. After a few days, Burt passed away. The cause of death remains unknown.

We have sponsored the treatment amounting to RM180 in Burt’s final medical bill while Nor covered the boarding. We also subsidised Burt’s earlier treatment for the two months.

May Burt be in a better place now.
