And The Butterflies Came

They always do.
After Vincent’s ashes came back yesterday, I went out to the patio to take a phonecall and the butterflies came.
There was a yellow one and a white one. Both were frolicking happily at the flower bush.
They were there for sometime, in the bright sunlight.
They looked very happy.
It is said that: The butterfly is a spiritual symbol for life after death because of its metamorphosis, or transformation, from a caterpillar that crawls on the ground to a beautiful, almost ethereal creature that flies through the air.
We always get butterflies after any of our pets passes on. And whenever I see them, I always get the message, “I’m happy, don’t worry, I’m in a happy place. Be happy for me.”
No, I did not get to take a photo of the two butterflies at the time, but they were frolicking here, in the noon sunshine.
Vincent’s in a happy place now. He deserves to be. All animals do.
