The ocean covers over 70% of Earth’s surface, and is home to thousands of species of plants and animals – many of which we haven’t even discovered yet.

But marine life is being put under threat by harmful fishing practices such as overfishing and use of non-selective fishing gear, coastal habitat loss and climate change.

Industrial scale plastic pollution is compounding these threats. As we mark World Wildlife Day, join us in calling for a global agreement to stop marine plastic pollution. Sign the petition now.
