"TWIGGY" RESCUED FROM DOG ISLAND!
This sad little black dog was spotted on Soi Dog's first visit to Dog Island last week. We've named her "Twiggy" as she's so terribly skinny. On our second trip to Dog Island Bridge on Tuesday, this little dog was able to be removed & we transported her along with 6 other seriously ill dogs to a veterinary clinic in Bangkok. She tested positive for heart worm & also has a severe respiratory & blood parasite infection. She is still undergoing treatment & we expect an update on her condition shortly. We are quietly confident that she will pull through! Stay tuned for next update.Rescue teams are racing against the clock to find and rescue more animals before they die in the water.
