Why does Ying look so sad, scared, and confused?

Because this picture was taken shortly after he arrived at our shelter, having been dumped by the owner he loved. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Ying to show him you care?

This is Ying’s story:

My human brought me to a veterinary clinic and asked the vet to put me to sleep. I wasn’t sick or in pain. But she was leaving Thailand to return to her home country and she didn’t want to take me with her. Even though to me, she was my whole world.

The vet refused to put me to sleep, but my owner simply dumped me outside the clinic and drove off. Luckily, a staff member found me wandering around, very confused, trying to find my owner. They brought me to Soi Dog, where I now live.

You can do something really wonderful for me. You can sponsor me by going to https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Ying. As a sponsor, you will receive updates and photos from me so you’ll be the first to hear of any progress I’m making. Your sponsorship means that dogs like me get food, shelter, veterinary care, and socialisation. Without you, there would be no way to care for us.

I am about 10 years old now, and I don’t know if I will ever be ready to trust someone again. The whole experience has sadly made me very nervous. Volunteers continue to work with me, but until I feel more confident, I cannot be adopted. Will you please go to https://bit.ly/Sponsor-Ying to become a sponsor for me? Thank you for being my friend.
