WFFT RESCUE CENTER & SOI DOG FOUNDATION WORK TOGETHER TO HELP FLOOD AFFECTED DOGS! (PHOTOS PART 2)
Many of the dogs rescued from the Bangkok Flood Disaster have been transferred here to the WFFT (Wildlife Friends of Thailand) Rescue Center in Cha Am (Petchaburi Province). Currently the WFFT runs several projects from hands-on wildlife rescue, medical care, wildlife rehabilitation, research on wildlife and marine mammals as well as the release of wild animals back to the wild. A special section has been constructed within the Sanctuary to house many of the flood affected dogs in what is now referred to as "Tent City". The dogs here are neighbours to elephants, monkeys, tigers, bears, birds & reptiles! Funding from Soi Dog Foundation has helped to build "Tent City" & give these dogs a temporary home, until they can be returned to their homes after the flood water recedes. The dogs here are well cared for with full time veterinary staff & comfortable areas for the dogs to live. The aim is to sterilize all these dogs before they are returned to their original homes. Your donations help Soi Dog to fund the rescue & housing of these dogs over the following months, until they can finally go home.
