He is big and gentle... growls on a need to basis. He only barks when there is something to bark about after it or the situation has been checked out by him first. He has been nicknamed "the silent observer". That's because most of the time he is standing on his two hind legs and peeping over the wall or window ledge looking intently, observing and making plans.
Terry gets along with dogs his size and is gentle with puppies. He quickly asserts himself as the pack leader amongst other dogs around him. He loves toys especially empty plastic bottles. He will take food and treats from your hand in the most amazingly gentle manner and lick your hands as well when he finishes eating to express his thanks.
Lately Terry finally realized that his owners are not coming to get him and he was so sad. It broke our hearts to see him that way. But he has cheered up now... full of hope and waiting for that special someone to come.
Please give him a home and his space to run around all day long.
Please make his dream come true as soon as possible. He belongs to a family, not to a shelter.
