Some of the rescue cats at Soi Dog Foundation, posed with their best for the festive season to cheer you up!They also wanted to take this moment to remind you to make this season safe for all your furry friends (cats, dogs and all other pets). Here are a just a few tips they thought of:-Remember to give your pets a safe room this season where they can be away from all the hustle and bustle.Cats especially do not like unpredictability so unless they are super social, put them away in a quiet room when you have your guests over.-If you must show off your pet to friends and family, then let your cat or dog come over on their own accord. Do not force them to mingle, socialise nor meet all your long lost relatives.-Keep them away from the holiday treats. Most of them are dangerous to pets like chocolates, dairy, alcohol etc., -Always read their body language and look out and avoid any stress triggers.-Be mindful about neighbourhood pets when using Anti-Freeze as the key components can be lethal especially to cats.-Always check under your vehicles because community animals may take refuge under a car due to a recently warmed up engine.–Don’t forget those sparkly decorations/Christmas lights that can especially attract cats. Examples include tinsel, plastic decor and also electrocution from unsafe electrical chords. Keep your pets away in a separate room from the Christmas tree, if you are going out to celebrate.Make this season happy and joyous to everyone. Stay Safe and have a Meowy Christmas from all the rescue animals at Soi Dog Foundation, Thailand.
