“GARBAGE” DOGS JUMP ON BEDS!

There is no better reward for our efforts in Romania than to see these dogs, once sentenced to death at the so-called “garbage pound”, now enjoying their new homes. Families abroad are taking in the dogs we’ve been rescuing from a notoriously cruel dog pound on the outskirts of the city Targu Neamt. Each of these dogs was so thin and so frightened when we first intervened, and now, their sorrows are a distant memory.

To see them walk and play and snuggle up on the couch, you’d never know that these dogs were treated like trash just months ago. They had nothing, not even hope before we arrived. And now, well, just look at them. They have everything in the world a dog could wish for.

We are fighting very hard in the courts to permanently close the dog pound in Targu Neamt which is responsible for great atrocities. For now, we have stopped the influx of new dogs and are seeing to the rescue and care of those who were brought there by dog catchers. We do hope its only a matter of time before those involved are held accountable for their crimes against the dogs.
