She was found on a lonely hilltop, starving and emaciated. All her fur had fallen out and in desperation, she was eating bits of rotten fruit she found on the ground. That’s how Papaya got her name.

Thanks to people like you, Papaya underwent extensive medical treatment at the Soi Dog shelter and lived with us until she was adopted a few months ago by Ava in the USA. Check out the latest pictures of Papaya in her forever home!

Soi Dog Foundation

Established in 2003 in Phuket, Thailand, Soi Dog is Southeast Asia's largest organisation helping stray animals. The Gill Dalley sanctuary in Phuket is home to over 1,600 animals.
