For those who look at the images and think the Animals are a little roughly treated when being caught, PLEASE note that they are scared, they are panicking, they don’t understand we are there to help and they BITE - Several Rescuers have been bitten Including John, so securing the mouth and TEETH containing them is something they just have to endure for the brief amount of time they are being transferred from water to boat to cage.

We hope you understand these are not ideal conditions the Rescuers are working in, and their safety is as important as the dogs.
