What could have possibly happened to Mannie? That is something we will never know. He arrived at our shelter covered in strange wounds – one of his back paws so badly cut that the bone was exposed. Mannie is homeless, like so many others. Will you please donate at https://bit.ly/Saving_Mannie to help those who have nobody else?
Mannie is traumatised – understandably so. It is hard to imagine the unbearable pain he was in when he arrived at the Soi Dog hospital. In addition to the severe injury to one of his hind legs, he had a puncture wound on his neck and another on his shoulder. Did a human deliberately inflict this horrific injuries?
Each of the wounds was severely infected and infested with maggots. Mannie had been rescued just in time. Without urgent medical care, the infection would have spread rapidly, ultimately resulting in blood poisoning and a slow and painful death.
Please act now to help animals like Mannie. By joining the Emergency Response Team, your small monthly gift will fund the vital medical treatment and ongoing care of homeless street animals that have nobody caring for them. It will save countless lives and give these innocent animals a chance at happiness. Please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Mannie to take action now.
Mannie is safe now, although he will need surgery on his leg once his bloodwork is better and he has regained some strength. He is on antibiotics and pain relief, in addition to treatment for his severe anaemia. Just as importantly, he is eating well and finally has somewhere safe to rest his head at night.
Please join the Emergency Response Team so that rescues like this can continue. Suffering animals like Mannie receive no government funding. They only have one hope and that is you. If you love animals, if you want to help some of the world’s most neglected, please go to https://bit.ly/Saving_Mannie to join the Emergency Response Team now, with just a few dollars a week.
Thank you for caring about dogs like Mannie.
